EMC Forum Hong Kong 2017 explores digital transformationEMC held an IT industry forum in Hong Kong last week aimed at accelerating the city's digital transformation.

EMC Forum Hong Kong 2017 was focused on the theme of “modernize”, and was attended by around 1,000 IT executives.

Attendees shared insights into digital transformation, modern infrastructure and cloud strategy,  as well as how technology innovations help drive business development and enhance competitiveness in the digital era.

Events included keynote addresses by senior EMC executives, a panel discussion on the modernized digital ecosystem and executive keynotes on the technology economy in Greater China as well as the ways AI technologies can aid digital transformation.

The forum also included a showcase area highlighting and demonstrating a range of technologies designed for digital transformation from both EMC and its partners.

“With today’s rapid technological innovation, digital transformation has become the hottest global IT trend to empower business development in this new digital era,” EMC president for APAC and Japan David Webster said.

“More and more enterprises in different industries are seeing the need to digitalize their business, improve the customer experience and ultimately enhance their competitiveness, with the latest technological innovations.”
