The four-day event, which is being organized by Invest Hong Kong, will take place at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre in Wang Chai and at PMQ in Central from January 16.
StartmeupHK 2017 will feature more than 80 speakers through panel sessions, interactive discussions, competitions and speaking events.
The festival is designed to showcase Hong Kong's vibrant startup ecosystem. It covers retail technology, fashion technology, smart city, fintech and digital health.
The centerpiece of the festival will be the StartmeupHK Venture Forum on January 17 at the convention center.
The Forum will include guest speakers including Brett King - the best-selling author and founder of the Moven mobile banking service. King will be joined by cyber illusionist Marco Tempest, VeriFi Hong Kong founder and chairman Pindar Wong and Ethereum co-founder and Consensus Systems founder Joseph Lubin, as well as CUHK's director of the Li Ka Shing Institute of Health Sciences Dr Dennis Lo.
Over the next two days, 24 startups from around the world will take part in the FinTech Finals, competing for the Best In Show prize of US$10,000, as well as Best Early Stage, Best Growth Stage and Best Mature Stage Startup awards.
